Hey whats up everyone,
So i get called out by a lot of people claiming that I like iPhones over androids or that i’m biased when I compare iPhones to some android phones. But for those of you who’ve been keeping up with my content for long enough you guys know that my first smartphone I ever had was a android, and I use androids all the time, in fact I have more androids in my house right now than iPhones. Now one of those androids was a Lg G2, which is still a dope phone, I made a video on that phone as well, but the Lg G6 just recently came out so lets compare the 2 and see if you should jump to the Lg G6 from the Lg G2!
Starting off the LG G2 has a 5.2 inch screen and the G6 has a 5.7 inch screen, but since the G6 and G2 have very little bezel they feel kind of similar in the hand. The G6 has the quad hd screen which is amazing to look at, but the G2’s screen isn’t that bad at all either, in fact a lot of budget phones these days have a full HD display so it wouldn’t be bad to look at at all.
Now the cameras on these things believe it or not are the same megapixel count, now obviously the G6 has dual cameras so it is better, but if your looking into older phones your probably not going to rely on that too much to do your photography, the G2’s camera is still surprisingly good.
Speed Wise, the G6 and G2 both have quad core processors, the G6 is clocked higher so it is faster, but the G2 still has a ton of power left and can play most games fairly well, also the G2 has 2gb of ram while the G6 has 4gb of ram.
Battery wise the G6 is going to beat the G2, the battery on these older phones have deteriorated so the battery life is not like it used to be, maybe if you replaced the stuff and under clocked it could last forever but since it can’t. the G6 beats it.
Overall, we’re comparing a over $700 phone to a almost less than $100 phone, so if you want something cheap that might last you a couple months than get the G2, or you can spend over $600 and buy a G6 that’ll last much longer, choice is yours.
