The iPhone 6 and the 6 plus both came out in 2014, and since then they both have gotten a lot of updates, a lot of praise and a whole lot of criticism, every single iPhone after these two pretty much copied these phones so these are pretty much the OG’s when it comes to newer iPhones. I already said that both of these phones were worth it in 2017 and if you missed those videos they will also be mentioned later in the article.
So the biggest difference is between the size, if you like bigger phones than get the 6 plus, if not get the 6, but I will say you should at least try the 6 plus simply because it brings a couple more features and you will probably get used to the size.
The screen is apparently better on the 6 plus but me personally, I can’t really tell the difference between the 6 plus screen and the 6 screen, but both screens are still pretty good and viewing angles and overall media consumption of the phones are pretty similar.
cameras are also the same with the exact same features, except the iPhone 6 brings OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) so photos are a little bit better. These iPhones are also similar in speed, they both are using the Apple A8 chips which aren’t too old, I’ve even able to use both of these phones just fine, I will say though that maybe the 6 plus is a little faster, probably because of the placebo effect or whatever, but they both have the same amount of ram too (1gb).
The second biggest difference I found (after the size) is between the battery life, the iPhone 6 battery life was notorious for having really bad battery life and it still does, the 6 plus on the other hand still has a huge battery and thus better battery life.
Me personally, if I were you I would pick up a 6 plus, their a little bit more expensive than the iPhone 6 but just the battery life alone would make me want to switch if I were being honest. Either way, their both great phones and whichever one you choose ill still like you no matter what.
