Its super hard to believe that the ds lite is 20 years old now, thats because its not, its only 11.

This year the ds lite turned 11 years old which is crazy like some of you who are reading this might be younger than the ds lite, i don’t know its crazy to me though.

Now I’m going be honest, I was like 10 years old when i got this exact ds and I dropped it a lot, threw it around and stuff but honestly for almost 11 years later, its still in pretty good condition.

when you flip it open you got that dual screen action, there a bit smaller now than when I remember which is weird because they didn’t shrink, especially when I compare it with my iPhone or even my dsi xl the screen looks kind of small, but its still playable.

Booting it up we still get that unnesacry nintendo warning thing and then you have this like 5 same option screen, but above all we had pictochat which was like the best way to pick up girls in middle school, I actually still use it in college.

The game selection on this thing is tremendous, theres like games on games for this thing, and I went into gamestop the other day, and the DS games there were kind of expensive I was like shocked, like this things 11 years old you should just be giving them away for free at this point.

the buttons held up kind of well, all except the left arrow button, its not Nintendo’s fault its actually my brothers fault he got mad at a game he was playing and hit it against his leg and broke it I don’t even know how that happened, I cried that day to cause like my ds was my best friend, and like i couldn’t play with it anymore.

Now heres a reason why I say that it might not be worth it, we can play ds games on our Macs, Pc’s, androids, and even our iPhones, now I said in my last video I did last year on it and people still comment on it saying that doesn’t make any sense, I basically meant through emulators, my bad for not clarifying it, but if you want to buy one for like a collectors item in the future then I guess you could do that.

All in all If you have one I wouldn’t sell it, if you don’t have one, I probably wouldn’t buy it, I would probably get a dsi xl, which I also did a video on link in the description.

Here the video in case you missed it:
